Job summary

Cohere is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to help enterprise customers integrate state-of-the-art generative AI and retrieval systems into production environments. You will bridge the gap between our foundational models and real-world business applications.

You will build high-performance applications, consult with clients on LLM architectures, and contribute reusable templates to accelerate onboarding, while providing feedback to research and core engineering teams based on deployment

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience with Python.
• Experience deploying LLMs and vector databases.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build high-performance applications, APIs, and SDK integrations leveraging enterprise LLMs and embedding models.
• Consult with enterprise clients to architect custom LLM solutions and semantic search pipelines.
• Write clean, maintainable code and reusable templates to accelerate customer onboarding.
• Provide feedback to research and core engineering teams based on field deployment challenges.
