Job summary

Avalara is seeking an Enterprise AI Capability Program Lead to own and evolve the AI reskilling and capability program across the organization. You will guide managers and leaders from AI awareness to structured experimentation and workflow redesign, building scalable frameworks and templates for human-AI collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, organization development, HR, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years designing and delivering enterprise capability-building or reskilling programs at scale.
• Ability to translate AI capabilities into roles, skills, and workforce implications.
• Strong judgment connecting org design, AI capability, and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and own a multi-stage enterprise capability program from AI awareness to structured experimentation.
• Coach and mentor managers and leaders across functions globally.
• Build tools and templates to assess AI suitability and redesign work around human-AI collaboration.
• Translate complex AI concepts into accessible management content.
• Establish mechanisms for surfacing use cases and an AI champions network.
• Measure program impact and expand to an organization-wide reskilling agenda.
• Drive long-term improvement of capability programs and manager effectiveness.
