HireOn Tech is seeking an Enterprise AI Architect to lead architecture, development, security, and modernization of enterprise AI and software platforms.

The role combines architecture with hands-on engineering across AI, cloud-native services, and enterprise data platforms to deliver secure, observable, and production-ready solutions. Collaboration with security, data, and platform teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution or enterprise architecture.
• Hands-on development background across frontend, backend, APIs, data platforms.
• Proven track record architecting enterprise AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Agentic AI and AI-assisted software engineering.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
• Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with security, governance, compliance, and observability practices.
• Experience using AI-powered developer tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex).

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale AI and cloud-native solutions.

Job description

We are seeking an Enterprise AI Architect with strong Full Development Experience (FDE) to lead the architecture, development, security, and modernization of enterprise-scale AI and software platforms.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on architect who can move beyond high-level strategy and actively contribute to software development, AI engineering, Agentic AI, cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps, platform engineering, and enterprise data platforms.

You will work across architecture, engineering, security, data, and platform teams to design and deliver secure, scalable, observable, and production-ready AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of enterprise-scale AI and cloud-native solutions.
• Define enterprise AI reference architectures, engineering standards, frameworks, and guardrails.
• Drive adoption of Agentic AI, AI-assisted software engineering, and intelligent automation.
• Apply modern architecture patterns including Clean Architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), microservices, and cloud-native design.
• Build solutions with security, governance, observability, resilience, and compliance from the start.

Full Development Experience

• Demonstrate hands-on experience across frontend, backend, APIs, data platforms, cloud services, and AI applications.
• Lead modern software engineering practices including TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, and quality gates.
• Modernize legacy applications through refactoring, cloud migration, and microservices transformation.
• Establish AI-powered engineering practices to improve developer productivity and software delivery.

AI Security & DevSecOps

• Design secure AI platforms using OWASP, Zero Trust, and enterprise cybersecurity principles.
• Implement security controls for PII, PHI, HIPAA, GDPR, and regulatory compliance.
• Integrate SAST, SCA, container security scanning, dependency management, secrets management, and policy-as-code.
• Build auditable AI systems with governance, lineage, traceability, access controls, and compliance monitoring.
• Design automated CI/CD pipelines with security and quality gates.

Agentic AI & AI-Assisted Development

• Design and operationalize multi-agent AI development ecosystems.
• Build AI-assisted workflows for architecture, development, testing, security reviews, documentation, and code reviews.
• Work with tools such as:
• OpenAI Codex
• Enterprise AI coding assistants
• Snowflake Cortex
• Architect scalable enterprise data and AI platforms using Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud-native services.
• Databricks Lakehouse
• Snowflake Cortex / CoCo
• Enable self-service analytics, conversational AI, semantic data access, and enterprise-scale data engineering.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related technology roles.
• Strong hands-on software development background with Full Development Experience (FDE).
• Proven experience architecting and implementing enterprise AI solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Agentic AI and AI-assisted software engineering.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, CI/CD, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
• Strong experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Experience implementing enterprise security, governance, compliance, and observability.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, DDD, Clean Architecture, TDD, and engineering best practices.
• Experience working with AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or OpenAI Codex.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across engineering, security, data, and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing multi-agent AI systems and enterprise Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with Databricks Genie, Snowflake Cortex/CoCo, or similar enterprise AI capabilities.
• Experience in regulated environments involving HIPAA, PHI, PII, or GDPR.
• Experience establishing enterprise AI governance and reference architectures.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud modernization and legacy transformation initiatives.
