Job summary

ByteDance is seeking a senior algorithm engineer in San Jose to drive enterprise AI initiatives. You will implement LLMs and AI agents, design scalable data pipelines, and collaborate with product managers, business developers, and QA to improve efficiency and profitability.

You will lead a team of engineers, applying deep learning in recommender, NLP, and computer vision, while advancing software engineering practices and microservices architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/Statistics with 5 years in algorithm research or development.
• At least 1 year of team management experience.
• Knowledge of deep learning algorithms in recommender, advertising, NLP, or CV.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or Go with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or PaddlePaddle.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement LLM, VLLM, and AI Agent in enterprise scenarios and align algorithms to improve satisfaction, efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Design end-to-end data pipelines and algorithm applications for intelligent services and operations.
• Collaborate with product managers, business developers, and QA to boost project efficiency and profitability.
• Lead a team of algorithm engineers to deliver data pipelines and algorithmic apps for enterprise scenarios.
