Job summary

Servco Pacific Inc. seeks an Enterprise Accountant to apply U.S. GAAP in support of Accounting & Financial Services. The role covers general ledger, period-end close, reconciliations, accruals, financial reporting, and procure-to-pay activities.

You will partner with internal stakeholders, strengthen internal controls, document processes, and lead automation and AI-enabled improvements. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA-aspirant status are preferred, with at least two years in accounting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA preferred.
  • CPA candidate or active pursuit of CPA certification encouraged.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Preferred: experience in retail, manufacturing, automotive, and/or multi-entity organizations, or with Big Four/ national public accounting firm.
  • Preferred: experience supporting automation, reporting enhancements, process improvements, or approved AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational information, research accounting issues, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Understanding of procure-to-pay accounting processes and related internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Provide accounting support across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Automotive Accounting, Credit, and other AFS functions.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to understand operations, resolve accounting issues, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide professional accounting guidance and responsive support to business partners.
  • Support higher-level Accounts Payable activities, including review of complex transactions, period-end accruals, reconciliations, vendor matters, and payment exceptions.
  • Evaluate procure-to-pay processes and recommend improvements to strengthen internal controls and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Operations, and Accounts Payable to resolve accounting, invoicing, and payment-related issues.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects, accounting technology enhancements, automation, reporting improvements, and approved AI-enabled solutions.
  • Support cross-training, knowledge transfer, and organizational resiliency across AFS.

Job description

The Enterprise Accountant performs professional accounting work requiring the application of U.S. GAAP, accounting principles, analytical skills, and sound judgment in support of Accounting & Financial Services (AFS). Responsibilities may vary based on departmental and business priorities and may include general ledger accounting, period-end close support, account reconciliations, accruals, financial reporting, higher-level Accounts Payable and procure-to-pay activities, and research and resolution of accounting, vendor, invoicing, and payment-related issues. The Enterprise Accountant also supports internal controls, process documentation, cross-training, workflow improvements, technology enhancements, and special projects that support the goals of AFS.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounting Operations & Business Support

Provide accounting support across General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Automotive Accounting, Credit, and other Accounting & Financial Services functions based on business priorities. Partner with internal stakeholders to understand operational activities, resolve accounting issues, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Provide professional accounting guidance and responsive support to business partners.

Accounts Payable & Procure-to-Pay Support

Support higher-level Accounts Payable activities, including review of complex transactions, period-end accruals, reconciliations, vendor-related accounting matters, and payment exceptions. Evaluate procure-to-pay processes and recommend improvements that strengthen accuracy, internal controls, and operational efficiency. Collaborate with Treasury, Operations, and Accounts Payable to resolve accounting, invoicing, and payment-related issues.

Special Projects & Organizational Support

Participate in cross-functional projects, strategic initiatives, accounting technology enhancements, automation efforts, reporting improvements, and approved AI-enabled solutions that support departmental and company objectives. Contribute to cross-training, knowledge transfer, and organizational resiliency across Accounting & Financial Services. Provide flexible accounting support and backup coverage for designated accounting functions to maintain continuity during staffing transitions, business changes, and evolving operational priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • CPA preferred.
  • CPA candidate or active pursuit of CPA certification encouraged.
  • Minimum of two years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Preferred: diversified industry experience in retail, manufacturing, automotive, and/or multi-entity organizations, or experience with a Big Four or national public accounting firm.
  • Preferred: experience supporting automation, reporting enhancements, process improvements, or approved AI-enabled productivity initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Strong analytical, reconciliation, and financial problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze financial and operational information, research accounting issues, and recommend practical solutions.
  • Understanding of procure-to-pay accounting processes and related internal controls.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines, priorities, and competing assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn and use approved AI-enabled tools responsibly to improve efficiency, documentation, analysis, and communication.
  • Preferred: experience with Oracle Financial Cloud and DealerTrack.
