Job description

About Keplar

Keplar is an AI-moderated voice research platform that conducts 1:1 consumer interviews at scale, delivering deep qualitative insights in 72 hours. Our voice AI moderator runs dynamic, spoken conversations with hundreds of consumers simultaneously, and every study feeds into a compounding, indexed insights repository that lets teams re-mine past research and run cross-project analysis. We work with leading consumer brands across CPG, food & beverage, QSR, tech and retail.

We're a small, fast-moving team building category-defining infrastructure for market research. This is an opportunity to join early and directly shape how we bring Keplar to some of the biggest consumer brands in the world.

The Role

We're hiring an AE to own the full sales cycle and drive revenue growth across our target accounts. You'll be the primary point of contact for prospects moving from first conversation through signed contract — running discovery, scoping paid pilots, building proposals, and negotiating to close. You'll also own expansion, turning successful pilots into multi-year annual partnerships. This role blends consultative selling, proposal craft, and in-person hustle at industry events.

What You'll Do
  • Full-cycle selling: Own discovery, pilot scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and closing for inbound and outbound opportunities.

  • Pipeline management: Manage a pipeline of mid-to-large consumer brands (CPG, F&B, QSR, retail), prioritizing based on fit and revenue potential.

  • Proposal & pricing: Build tailored proposals and pricing quotes based on Keplar's volume-based pricing model, in partnership with the research team.

  • Pilot-to-annual conversion: Partner with CX and research to ensure pilots demonstrate clear ROI, then drive the conversation into annual contract renewals and expansion.

  • Contract negotiation: Navigate MSAs, SOWs, DPAs, and security/privacy questionnaires through procurement and legal review, in partnership with outside counsel.

  • Event-based selling: Represent Keplar at industry conferences and events. Run meetings, work the room, and convert relationships into pipeline.

  • CRM hygiene & forecasting: Keep pipeline, stage, and forecast data accurate and up to date.

  • Collaborate on GTM: Work to sharpen positioning, messaging, and competitive strategy based on what you're hearing from the field.

What We're Looking For
  • 3–7+ years of closing experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally selling into insights, brand, or innovation teams at consumer companies.

  • Track record of consistently hitting or exceeding quota, including complex, multi-stakeholder deals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you can write a proposal and run a negotiation that builds real confidence with sophisticated buyers.

  • Comfortable navigating enterprise procurement, contracts, and security review processes.

  • Self-starter who's energized by building sales process from scratch, not just following a playbook.

  • Willingness to travel for industry events/conferences as needed.

  • Bonus: experience selling into market research, insights, or consumer brand teams.

  • Bonus: fluency in qualitative research methodology (moderation guides, screeners, verbatim analysis) — enough to speak credibly with research buyers.

Why Join Keplar
  • Ground-floor opportunity at a fast-growing, venture-backed company (Kleiner Perkins).

  • Direct mentorship from our Head of Growth and CEO

  • Uncapped upside closing deals for a product that’s already landing logos like Coca-Cola and Clorox.

  • Own the full commercial motion with real influence over how Keplar’s sales org is built.
