Job description

Bitsight is a cyber risk management leader transforming how companies manage exposure, performance, and risk for themselves and their third parties. Companies rely on Bitsight to prioritize their cybersecurity investments, build greater trust within their ecosystem, and reduce their chances of financial loss. Built on over a decade of technological innovation, its integrated solutions deliver value across enterprise security performance, digital supply chains, cyber insurance, and data analysis. We invented the cyber ratings industry in 2011. Over 3500 customers trust Bitsight. Over 600 teammates are dispersed throughout Boston, Raleigh, New York, Lisbon, Singapore, and remote.

About the Role

Bitsight is hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to own a New York-based territory spanning net-new prospecting, full-cycle deal execution, and expansion within an existing enterprise book of business. This is a new logo and cross-sell/upsell role for an experienced enterprise seller with a strong track record in cybersecurity or enterprise technology sales, an active network of customer and channel relationships in the industry, and the willingness to travel and meet buyers face to face. You will work closely with sales leadership, channel partners, and cross-functional teams to build pipeline, run disciplined deal processes, and grow strategic accounts.

What You’ll Do
  • Hunt and close net-new logo opportunities while managing and expanding an existing portfolio of enterprise customers.
  • Maintain weekly engagement across top strategic accounts, including in-person visits and multi-threading across buying groups.
  • Leverage and grow relationships across the cybersecurity channel ecosystem.
  • Multi-thread every opportunity across business, technical, and executive stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain a documented Mutual Action Plan (MAP) for every qualified opportunity, with clear decision-makers, process steps, and target timelines.
  • Identify a Champion, Economic Buyer, Decision Process, and Procurement Path for every committed opportunity, and keep Salesforce current, accurate, and timely.
  • Travel regularly within the territory to meet prospects and customers in person, representing Bitsight at meetings, briefings, and industry events.
  • Keep sales leadership informed through weekly updates and monthly/quarterly territory analyses; escalated deal risk early and build recovery plans for stalled oportunities.
  • Plan and organize a daily schedule to systematically call on existing and potential accounts within the territory.
  • Execute proactive prospecting campaigns to drive outbound customer and prospect outreach.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape — pricing, products, and positioning — and recommend product, service, or policy changes based on results and market developments.
  • Resolve customer issues by investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management.
What You Bring
  • Proven, top-performer track record as an enterprise Account Executive in B2B technology sales, ideally with direct experience selling into cybersecurity, risk, or IT buyers.
  • Established relationships with enterprise security and risk decision-makers, plus existing relationships across the cybersecurity channel and partner ecosystem, engaged wherever those relationships reside while managing an account list centered around the New York HQ market.
  • Demonstrated success owning full sales cycles — from prospecting through negotiation and close — alongside a history of growing and retaining existing accounts.
  • Consultative, value-based selling approach with the ability to build a business case and align a solution to a customer's specific objectives and operational realities.
  • Comfort maintaining CRM hygiene, Mutual Action Plans, and multi-threaded account strategies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to meet customers, prospects, and partners in person.
  • High integrity, strong collaboration across internal teams, accountability, and a winning mindset.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, with the ability to research key accounts and assess business opportunities within their market.
  • Develops and maintains a thorough understanding of Bitsight's products and the broader security and risk landscape, updating sales presentations as specifications evolve.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of B2B Enterprise sales experience, including selling software or technology products, with a demonstrated ability to sell into the C-level.
  • Experience leveraging multiple communications channels (web, social media, etc.) within a sales campaign.
  • Background in Security, Vendor Risk Management, or GRC sales.
  • Existing network of CISOs, GRC leaders, or third-party risk professionals.
  • Familiarity with security ratings, third-party risk management (TPRM) platforms, or GRC tools.
  • Prior experience at a high-growth SaaS or cybersecurity company.
Sales Methodologies and Practices
  • Experience with a formal sales methodology (MEDDIC, MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Force Management, Selling through Curiosity, etc.).
  • Strong forecasting discipline — able to accurately categorize commit, best case, and pipeline.
