Job summary

Veterans Health Administration is seeking a Physician specialized in Otolaryngology to provide comprehensive ENT services at the W. G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.

The physician works under the ACOS of Surgery within an interdisciplinary team and is responsible for delivering high-quality surgical and clinical care. The role emphasizes participation in teaching, maintaining clinic productivity, and contributing to patient safety and quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
• LCME/COCA accreditation as applicable for degree awarding institution.
• ECFMG eligibility for foreign medical graduates if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Attend required staff meetings and participate in communications up and down the chain of command.
• Provide comprehensive surgical/clinical ENT care and maintain clinic productivity and patient safety oversight.
• Deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to teaching and trainee supervision when appropriate.
