The role emphasizes collecting and maintaining patient information, diagnosing and treating within scope, explaining procedures, and providing evidence-based care. On-call duties are available, with a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Valid Illinois Medical License (or ability to obtain IL Medical License).
• Valid Illinois Controlled Substances License (or ability to obtain IL License).
• Board eligible or Board Certified.

Responsibilities

• Collect, record and maintain patient information such as medical histories, reports and examination results.
• Diagnose and treat patients within scope of practice.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments to patients.
• Monitor patients' conditions and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
• Perform Evaluation and Management (E/M) coding for Physicians.
• Use electronic medical records to track patient encounters.
