Job summary

Atlantic Health System in New Providence, New Jersey, is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant to join the ENT group affiliated with Overlook Medical Center. The role involves work across OR, ER, hospital floors and outpatient office settings, with responsibilities spanning preoperative planning and patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Physician Assistant studies, has completed a PA program, and holds NJ PA licensure with ACLS & BLS.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
• Successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• New Jersey PA license required.
• ACLS & BLS required.
• Must have excellent communication and computer skills.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in OR, ER, hospital floor and office settings.
• Assess health status, diagnose illnesses, develop plans of care and implement treatment.
• Coordinate preoperative patient care, order tests and obtain preoperative clearances.
• Schedule procedures and provide psycho-social support for patients.
