Job summary

The Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy is seeking a Physician Assistant to join a large private ENT group with over 18 clinic locations. PAs are encouraged to operate at the upper end of our scope of practice, performing in-office endoscopies, office procedures, and assisting in the OR, with inpatient experience available in a supportive environment.

Ideal candidates will hold a California PA license, NCCPA certification, and a BS with a PA program; 1–2 years ENT experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of California
• National Certification with NCCPA

Responsibilities

• Identifying short-term and long-range patient care issues and advising on options
• Assessing patient health by interviewing, exams, and reviewing medical history
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and documenting care
• Instructing patients on regimens and wellness
• Developing and implementing patient management plans
• Maintaining infection-control policies and safe working environment
• Staying current with professional knowledge and contributing to team growth
• Contributing to team effort and achieving related results
