Job summary

Grand Valley ENT & Facial Plastic Surgeons in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Medical Assistant (PRN/Pool) to join the team on-site, 8-5PM, Monday–Friday. This part-time role supports clinical and administrative tasks within the practice.

Responsibilities include taking vital signs, interviewing patients, assisting providers, handling routine admin duties, and purchasing supplies. Required: high school diploma and MA certification; 2 years experience preferred; BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current national MA certification from one of the following national MA certifications or registrations: RMA, NCMA, CCMA, CMA.
• Two (2) years of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care to assigned patients in the practice per hospital standards and procedures.
• Interviews patients, measures all vital signs as required for meaningful use.
• Assists provider with assigned patients in the clinic per hospital standards and procedures.
• Completes administrative functions as requested.
• Inventories and submits orders to the Practice Administrator for all medical supplies, materials and medications.
