The ideal candidate has an accredited nursing degree, an active state license, and CPR certification (or within 90 days). Strong communication and basic computer/EMR skills are essential to deliver compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current valid state nursing license.
• CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days).
• Knowledge of nursing principles, medication effects, patient education, and self-care concepts.
• Ability to communicate clearly and establish working relationships with patients, staff, and the public.
• Basic computer terminal and keyboard skills for accessing information and entering clinical data.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice under physician direction.
• Assist the physician in treatment of patients and perform related procedures.
• Complete associated clinical paperwork and maintain accurate patient records.
• Communicate with patients, families, visitors, and staff in a caring and professional manner.
• Operate clinic equipment and utilize basic computer systems as required.
