Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP in New York seeks a dedicated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Otolaryngology team at the Upper West Side walk-in clinic.

You will perform comprehensive evaluations, order tests, provide education, assist in ENT procedures, manage treatment plans, and document in EMR. This per diem role requires state licensure, NCCPA/AANPCB/ANCC certification, and strong clinical skills; Spanish speakers are a plus.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited master’s degree Physician Assistant Program or Nurse Practitioner Program.
• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
• Certified by NCCPA or AANPCB or ANCC.
• Current member of AAPA or AANP.
• CPR and BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative healthcare team.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus.
• APP ENT or office experience required.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate medical histories and conduct comprehensive physical exams for ENT patients.
• Diagnosis & Treatment Planning: Order and interpret tests; educate patients on plans.
• Procedures: Perform sutures, nasal care, biopsies, cerumen removal, nasal endoscopies as trained.
• Surgical Assistance: Post-operative follow-up and wound care.
• Patient Education: Discuss treatment options and post-operative care with patients and families.
• Documentation: Maintain EMR notes and records per HIPAA and policies.
• Collaboration: Work with physicians and staff for coordinated care.
• Compliance: Adhere to healthcare laws and ethical standards.
