Job summary

The University of South Florida’s Otolaryngology–Head & Neck Surgery department in Tampa seeks two Advanced Practice Providers (APRN or PA) to join our academic team in clinic-based roles at the South Tampa Center and Morsani Center. You will build an independent outpatient clinic template with direct faculty support and mentorship.

New graduates and experienced APPs are encouraged to apply; structured onboarding and graduated clinical autonomy are central.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required and eligible for faculty appointment.
• PA-C or APRN certification required per Florida statutes.
• Previous ENT/otolaryngology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build an independent outpatient clinic template with faculty support.
• Perform focused histories, physicals, and order/interpret diagnostic studies.
• Develop and implement ENT treatment plans within scope of practice.
• Provide postoperative care and follow-up, including complications management.
• Triage patient calls and clinical inbox messages, including prescription renewals.
• Collaborate with audiology, speech‑language pathology, and oncology teams.
