Job summary

The Department of Social Services (DSS) invites applications for Enrollment Specialist positions within the Fair Fares Program. Responsibilities include guiding participants through eligibility, data entry, document authentication, and coordinating informational sessions.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent and three years of experience in community work or community centered activities, or education/experience equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Verify and enroll participant referrals daily: walk-in, electronically and/or telephonically. Review consumer documents for completeness and authenticate official documentation.
• Navigate enrollment database; scan documents into the database; enter demographic and relevant information.
• Finalize and submit the complete Fair Fare application; inform consumers of missing documentation and how to obtain official documents.
• Coordinate communication around site-specific issues; organize and present information to community audiences via sessions, flyers, and other materials.
