Job summary

Springfield Technical Community College is seeking a full-time Recruitment & Retention Coordinator in Springfield, MA. The role focuses on guiding prospective students through enrollment and fostering community partnerships to meet program enrollment targets.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English/Spanish, can present to groups, and works well in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment. Some evening/weekend hours and travel within the region are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in recruitment/retention counseling or adult education.
• Experience administering student enrollment and using student information systems is desirable.
• Strong verbal and written communication, and ability to work with diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Identify student interests and align them with workforce training and career pathways.
• Develop outreach and recruitment plans with staff and referral agencies.
• Host information sessions and recruitment events; maintain relationships with community organizations.
• Guide students through enrollment processes including applications, assessments, orientation, and class enrollment.
• Maintain accurate data tracking on enrollment, waitlists, demographics and outcomes.
