Primary Responsibilities
The core focus of this role is high-volume data entry and processing new plan enrollments accurately and within established timeframes.
- Accurately enter, review, and update enrollment applications in compliance with CMS guidelines.
- Verify applicant eligibility, review documentation for completeness, and process plan changes, election requests, or denials.
- Perform self-quality checks to consistently meet department metrics (ramping up to 80–110 applications/day, or ~8–10 per hour).
- Respond to internal inquiries from agents, brokers, and customer service teams regarding application status.
- Place occasional outbound calls to applicants to gather missing information when necessary.
- Identify and document discrepancies, collaborating with internal teams to resolve issues efficiently.
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent transcripts required.
- Experience: 1+ years of data entry experience with solid general office skills (Healthcare, insurance, or call center experience is a plus, but not required!)
- Technical Skills: Highly computer proficient with strong data entry speed and accuracy.
- Communication: Professional communication skills for internal collaboration and occasional outbound outreach.
- Attendance: 100% attendance is required during the initial 4-week training period.
- Training Period (First 4 Weeks): Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (No scheduled time off permitted during this period).
- Standard Post-Training Shift: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
- Overtime Expectations: Post-training, candidates must be available for required overtime based on business needs. Schedules during peak periods may fall between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (M–F) and occasional Saturdays. (Sundays are always off).
