Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is seeking an Enrolled Nurse for St George Hospital. The EN will deliver high‑quality nursing care under the supervision of an RN and support a range of medical/surgical services including women's and children's, perioperative, cancer and more.

The role includes working up to 38 hours per week with permanent full or part-time arrangements. NSW Health values diversity and equity and supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants.

Qualifications

• Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, other care providers and hospital staff.
• Ability to work under the direction of the RN and provide high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality nursing care to patients under RN supervision.
• Assist in provision of nursing care and patient support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and use health information systems.
