Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Enrolled Agent/Resolution Specialist to join our team. Duties
- Manage and resolve IRS notices, audits, and tax disputes efficiently, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and estate tax returns with precision, incorporating complex tax laws from Circular 230.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis including balance sheet reconciliation, account reconciliation, and financial statement preparation to support resolution strategies.
- Advise on estate planning, wills, trusts, and estate law to optimize tax outcomes and asset protection.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), and other regulatory standards affecting financial reporting and compliance.
- Utilize advanced accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar tools for accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly through written reports and verbal explanations, ensuring understanding of tax implications and legal requirements.
- Assist with mergers & acquisitions due diligence by analyzing financial statements and regulatory compliance issues.
- Support tax reporting for various financial services including private equity investments, asset management, and non-profit accounting.
Experience
- Proven experience in public accounting or corporate tax accounting with a focus on individual tax, corporate tax expertise, or regulatory compliance accounting.
- Strong background in auditing, financial analysis, and financial report writing.
- Demonstrated knowledge of estate planning strategies, wills & trusts law, securities law, and tax law regulations.
- Familiarity with accounting concepts such as double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger reconciliation, and budget analysis.
- Experience working with accounting software like QuickBooks or comparable platforms for financial management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and professionally.
- Minimum of two years of experience in tax preparation, tax reporting, or related financial services roles demonstrating technical accounting proficiency.

Pay: $49,788.67 - $59,960.55 per year
