Location: On-site at partner schools or community locations (varies by assignment)Schedule: Typically 1-4 instructional hours per week, primarily after schoolProgram Length: Approximately 8-10 weeks per assignmentStart Date: Rolling opportunities based on school partner schedulesCompensation: Starting at $50+ per instructional hour, with rates varying based on the assignment, instructor qualifications, experience, location, scheduling needs, and other program-related factors.ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYConcorde Education partners with schools and community organizations to provide engaging enrichment programs that inspire curiosity, creativity, confidence, and lifelong learning.We are seeking enthusiastic instructors from a wide variety of educational, creative, technical, athletic, and professional backgrounds who are interested in providing instructional services for enrichment programs serving elementary, middle, and high school students.This posting is intended to identify qualified professionals who may be considered for future independent contractor instructional assignments as opportunities become available.ASSIGNMENT SCOPEAssignment details vary by school and may differ in grade level, schedule, duration, student enrollment, and program focus.Programs may include instruction in areas such as:STEM, engineering, and design challengesCoding, robotics, artificial intelligence, and technologyDigital art, animation, photography, video production, and graphic designFine arts, music, dance, theater, and creative expressionChess, strategy games, tabletop games, and academic enrichmentCooking, household science, entrepreneurship, and career explorationSports, fitness, yoga, movement, and wellnessStudy skills, tutoring, literacy, and other educational enrichment programsInstructors are expected to deliver engaging, organized instruction while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and appropriately supervised learning environment that aligns with school expectations and Concorde Education program standards.RESPONSIBILITIESDepending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:Deliver engaging, age-appropriate enrichment instruction.Prepare for each instructional session using approved lesson plans, provided curriculum, or instructor-developed activities when appropriate.Foster a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.Encourage active student participation while adapting instruction to varying ages, experience levels, and learning styles.Maintain appropriate supervision and classroom management throughout each session.Communicate professionally with designated school personnel and Concorde Education representatives regarding attendance, scheduling, and program needs.Follow all applicable school policies, site procedures, safety expectations, and emergency protocols.Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled instructional sessions.QUALIFICATIONSQualified applicants typically possess:At least 60 completed college credits (or equivalent relevant professional experience where appropriate for the assignment)Experience teaching, coaching, tutoring, instructing, mentoring, or leading youth programsExperience working with children or adolescents in schools, camps, community organizations, or similar settingsStrong communication, leadership, and classroom management skillsReliable, professional, and organized work habitsApplicants from a wide variety of professional and educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply.MATERIALS AND RESOURCESCurriculum, lesson objectives, and instructional expectations vary by assignment.
