Qualifications

Preschool Teacher – Enrichment Programs

Position Summary

We are seeking an engaging and energetic Preschool Teacher to support our enrichment programs, including cooking, yoga, and sports-based activities. This role is responsible for creating a fun, safe, and structured environment where children can explore new skills, build confidence, and develop social-emotional growth through hands‑on experiences.

Key Responsibilities – Hourly pay range: $19.25 - $22.25

• Lead and support enrichment programs such as:
  • Kids Café– guide children through hands‑on cooking activities and simple recipes
  • Culinary Club– support older children in more advanced kitchen experiences
  • Young Yogis– facilitate movement, mindfulness, and storytelling activities
  • Kickstart Soccer– engage children in active, play‑based soccer sessions
• Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities that promote:
  • Creativity and exploration
  • Teamwork and collaboration
  • Coordination and physical development
  • Social‑emotional learning
• Ensure a safe and nurturing classroom environment at all times
• Supervise children during enrichment sessions, maintaining appropriate ratios and active engagement
• Adapt activities to meet varying developmental levels and learning styles
• Support children in building practical life skills such as following directions, problem‑solving, and cooperation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of materials, especially in food‑based programs
• Communicate positively with parents and school leadership regarding children’s participation and progress

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with preschool‑aged children
• Experience or interest in one or more of the following:
  • Cooking or food‑based learning
  • Youth fitness, yoga, or movement activities
  • Sports or recreational programming
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to lead engaging, high‑energy activities while maintaining structure and safety
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
