Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is seeking an Enrichment Leader to support residents in our Memory Care community. This part-time role runs Friday to Sunday, 9:00am to 5:30pm, focusing on memory enrichment activities and engagement using our curriculum.

You will lead small groups and one-on-one sessions with patience, empathy, and teamwork. Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in a related field, or coursework in recreation therapy, social work, or psychology, and at least 6 months of group

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with coursework in Recreation Therapy, Social Work, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum of 6 months leading group activities with a special needs population.
• Ability to work weekends as required.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Professional, pleasant and team oriented attitude.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading and teaching small groups of cognitively impaired seniors in our award winning therapeutic Whole Brain Fitness programs.
• Preparing materials and conducting relevant research to confidently lead engaging memory enrichment activities.
• Assisting with Cognitive Assessments, tracking and trending of resident participation and maintaining compliance related documentation.

ABOUT THE ROLE

(Part Time) Friday to Sunday 9:00am to 5:30pm

As an Enrichment Leader with Belmont Village Senior Living, you will provide hands on support and guidance to seniors with cognitive disabilities in our Memory Care community. You will lead small group and one on one engagement using our memory enrichment curriculum, focusing on consistency, familiarity, and meaningful connection for each resident. The ideal Enrichment Leader is dependable, takes pride in their work, and brings patience and genuine empathy to every interaction. They are comfortable staying active, work well with others, and approach each day with a steady, team focused mindset. A strong sense of responsibility and a willingness to learn will help you create a positive environment where residents feel safe, supported, and valued.

YOUR TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
