Job summary

Arc Experience is seeking an Enrichment Instructor to teach engaging, skill-based classes for students in grades K–12. You’ll lead your own classroom (1 instructor to 20 students) after school, bringing learning to life with hands-on activities.

Curriculum support and training are provided. The role offers a flexible, part-time schedule from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, 3–4 days per week, with a pay rate of $35/hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation, especially in ethnically and culturally diverse communities.
• Qualified in the specific skill to teach our students.
• Good communicator with limited supervision.
• TB test (negative) and Live Scan background check required.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units completed OR pass proficiency exam.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead engaging enrichment activities for youth (K–8).
• Create a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment for students.
• Teach a class of 20 students.
• Travel between local schools to teach scheduled classes.
• Attend occasional team meetings and training sessions.

About The Role

Schedule & Compensation

• Ability to work independently and lead a class confidently.
• Reliable transportation for travel between nearby schools.
• Experience in education, coaching, or after-school programs preferred but not required.
• Availability for at least 3 days per week between 1:00–5:30 PM.
