Job summary

Jensen Landscape Services is seeking personnel to install landscape enhancements and operate a range of landscape equipment. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and reliable daily attendance, with expectations to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Experience in commercial landscape work is preferred but not required; a valid driver’s license is strongly preferred and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. The role is on-site and requires physical work outdoors in varied conditions.

• Bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape enhancement tasks including sod, plant, boulder, stump, soil and bark installation or removal.
• Safely operate landscape equipment such as ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, and more.
• Assist with initial and ongoing training of crews.
• Develop and maintain positive relations with the manager and team.
• Promote and maintain safe working conditions.
• Punctually attend work, complete tasks within time expectations, and follow dress code and inclement weather policies.

Responsible for the installation of enhancement projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• Commercial landscape construction experience preferred but not required

License or Certification

• Valid driver license issued by the state where employed is strongly preferred
• Pesticide license issued by the state where employed preferred

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Perform landscape enhancement tasks, including but not limited to: sod, plant, boulder, stump, soil and bark installation, replacement, and/or removal; debris removal; drainage installation; trench digging.
• Safe operation of landscape equipment, including but not limited to: ditch witch, wheelbarrows, power tools, backpack blowers, chipper, stump grinder, riding lawn mower, bobcats, tractors, and bull dozers.
• Assist with initial and on-going training of crews
• Develop and maintain a positive work relationship with manager and team members.
• Promote and maintain safe working conditions
• Shows up to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures
