Job summary

OneWell Health Care in Pottstown, PA, seeks an Enhanced Direct Support Professional to provide high-acuity direct support under ODP regulations and HCBS waivers.

In this role you will implement ISP and BSP, assist individuals with complex medical and behavioral needs, document EVV and incidents, and mentor DSP teammates. Qualifications include HS diploma, IDD DSP experience, and background-check ability. Certifications are preferred.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Enhanced Direct Support Professional (Enhanced DSP) provides advanced, high-acuity direct support services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in compliance with Pennsylvania Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) regulations and HCBS waiver requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

ENHANCED EDUCATION, LICENSURE & CERTIFICATIONS (ONE OR MORE REQUIRED)

• NADD Competency-Based Clinical Certification
• NADD Competency-Based Dual Diagnosis Certification
• NADD Competency-Based Direct Support Professional Certification
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Registered Nurse Aide (RNA)
• Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in:

• Psychology
• Education or Special Education
• Counseling
• Social Work
• Gerontology
• Therapeutic Recreation

ENHANCED TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

• Advanced Positive Behavior Support
• Crisis Prevention / Intervention (CPI or equivalent)
• Trauma-Informed Care
• Health Risk Management (HRM)
• ODP Incident Management & Abuse Prevention

COMPENSATION & PAY STRUCTURE

Enhanced DSP rates apply only to hours worked while performing enhanced duties, as specifically listed in the offer letter. All non-enhanced hours will be compensated at the standard DSP rate in accordance with FLSA blended-rate requirements.
