Frontier Tutoring is hiring Tutoring Specialists to work with students in English for elementary through high school. Tutors set their own availability and are matched to students based on subject expertise and scheduling. This role emphasizes building rapport and adapting to each student’s learning style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong knowledge of the subjects you want to teach.
• Experience tutoring, teaching, mentoring, coaching, or helping others learn preferred.
• Comfort using computers and learning new software.
• At least one year of customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group instruction.
• Get to know students and adapt teaching styles to how they learn best.
• Help students set goals and develop a plan for reaching them.
• Communicate with parents about student progress.
• Coordinate scheduling with students, families, and our team.
• Complete lesson notes and administrative reports.
• Check and respond to work-related emails within 24 hours.
• Participate in company meetings, training, and professional development.
• Represent Frontier Tutoring professionally when working with students and families.
