Job Summary

• To perform classroom teaching skills that stimulates learning, which also includes good planning, evaluation, general instruction, and good classroom management. Also included are extra-curricular activities that are commensurate with the operation of a successful school program.
• Works under the direct supervision of the principal/director, assistant principal, or designee.
• To perform other duties as assigned by the principal.

Qualifications

• A valid West Virginia Teaching Certification, Licensure, and/or Both in Language Arts 9-12 or English 9-12
• Demonstrates qualifications further detailed in job description
• Advanced Placement Training Preferred
