Job summary

Global LT is seeking an English Language Teacher to provide in-person, customized lessons to young learners in Elgin, SC. This freelance role targets children aged 5 and 8, with after-school afternoon availability Monday through Friday.

You will deliver tailored lessons, develop curricula, monitor progress, and communicate professionally with families to help students reach language goals.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in the target language.
• A degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, or related field.
• Minimum of two years of ESL teaching experience.
• Experience working with young children is required.

• Availability: Monday - Friday between 3:30pm - 5:30pm Eastern Standard Time
• Preferred start date: ASAP
• Lesson Frequency: 2 to 3xper weekeach
• Lesson Duration: 1 hour per lesson each
• Location:near Skateland Fun Center; 800 Bookman RD., SC 29045
• Preferred platform: In -person
• Current target language level: Beginner
  Native and other spoken languages: German
  Student's language needs and goals: I want to learn English so I can settle in well at preschool/schooland make new friends.
• Additional Information: Interests:
• 5-years-old: Generally, crafts:making bracelets: singing and dancing; playing in the garden; Playing with my big brother; paint.
• 8-years-old:I just want to learn English to keep up at school and make new friends.
