Overview

Solomon International School provides our students and families with the highest quality education services and opportunities available. SIS specializes in helping students of all ages through a variety of academic programs. SIS teachers will lead In-Person and Teacher-Led Live Online sessions/courses with live teaching and interaction with each student from the campus.

Requirements

• Washington State Applicant only
• Must be able to work in-person
• Has recent teaching experience in US middle-high schools
• Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, Education, and/or of the English/Math subject
• Knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for students at the respective grade level.
• Desire and ability to work with students at the specified age level with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
• Working familiarity with assistive technologies.
• Working knowledge of various office and video equipment.
• A passion for learning and sharing your knowledge with others.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to student learning, growth, and advancement.
• Demonstrate academic competence in the subjects
• Assign, coordinate, and monitor the daily performance of work and activities for students.
• Communicate and present classroom and school rules and information to students and parents.
• Update students’ progress weekly.
• Maintain ongoing positive and productive communication with all staff, students, and parents.
• Look beyond the walls of the classroom and demonstrate global competence and how their work will expand the impact of students’ work on their families and local and global communities.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
