LingoAid is seeking Remote Contract Japanese Interpreters to join our team. If you’re fluent in English and Japanese, you’ll help bridge communication gaps with accuracy, professionalism, and empathy.

Onboarding includes an English proficiency test (ILR level 3+), a mock interpretation session, a medical terminology assessment, a background check, and signing an Independent Contractor Agreement with HIPAA compliance. Please submit your resume and any certifications.

About the Role

We’re seeking Remote Contract Japanese Interpreters to join our dynamic team. As an interpreter, you’ll play a vital role in bridging communication gaps while providing a reliable, unbiased, and empathetic experience for those you assist.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

• Fluency in English and Japanese.
• A dedication to delivering courteous, accurate, and professional interpretation services.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Bonus Points:

Prior experience as Over-the-Phone Interpreter (is a plus, but not a dealbreaker!)

Getting Started

To ensure the highest quality of service, here’s what you’ll need to complete during onboarding:

• English Proficiency Test: Achieve a “technical proficiency” rating (level 3 or higher on the ILR scale).
• Mock Interpretation Session: Successfully pass a live evaluation.
• Medical Terminology Assessment: Pass an online test covering medical terms, anatomy, and physiology.
• Background Check & Security Screening.
• Sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and confidentiality commitment (including HIPAA compliance).
