Description Lexington Catholic High School is accepting resumes for an immediate English as a Second Language (ESL) tutor position. This part-time, hourly position will provide individualized or small group tutoring sessions to international students attending LCHS. The tutor will assist students with language proficiency, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational English. The individual will support students in understanding academic content and assignments. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible schedule to meet with students five to eight hours per week. Sessions may be scheduled during the school day or after depending on student availability. Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in education, English, linguistics, etc. preferred. Prior experience tutoring or teaching ESL is desirable.
