Job summary

Welo Data is seeking a Maps Visual Design Relevance Evaluator (English, US) for remote freelance work. You will assess and improve map design polish, readability, and contextual relevance to user experience.

Responsibilities include evaluating viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and reviewing personalized location recommendations, with up to three project rounds per cycle. Compensation is hourly and project logistics are outlined in the brief.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate the aesthetic quality, readability, and overall polish of digital map designs.
• Assess user-focused elements like viewport framing, geospatial accuracy, and content relevance.
• Review personalized location recommendations to ensure relevance and helpfulness.
• Follow strict project instructions and complete tasks accurately, including tagging specific issues (e.g., Icons not properly masked, Labels too small).

Requirements:

• To be located and have the right to work in the United States.
• An existing, actively used Gmail account with prior usage history on Google Maps.
• Participation is limited to maximum three project rounds. Please note that the task request will be dynamic and we will be providing you with a heads-up as soon as possible once there is a project round available for you.

PROJECT DETAILS

• Estimated volume: 8 - 10 hours
• Start date: The project runs on a weekly basis. Eligible candidates will be added to a pool of certified raters and contacted at least 48 hours before kickoff.
