Sylvania seeks an English Language Learner (ELL) supporter contracted through EDUStaff. The role provides direct support for EL students, families, and staff, including tutoring and aiding in grant certification.
The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers and administrators to enhance language development, equity, and outreach across programs. Responsibilities include tutoring, planning parent engagement activities, and assisting with program delivery.
Successful English Language Learner (ELL) candidate will be contracted through EDUStaff, a third party vendor.
This posision provides direct support for students, parents and families of Entlish Lanuage Learners. He/She may complete or assist in the completion of the semi-annual grant certification.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, students and parents; skill in oral and written communication.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds such as books and teaching material. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The ability to travel to other building is required. The position requires the individual to sometimes work irregular or extended work hours and meet multiple demands from several people.
