Job summary

The Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) invites applications for the tenure-track position of Instructor of Engineering Technology at Walters State Community College, Morristown Campus. The role will teach Associate of Applied Science Engineering Technology courses and labs with emphasis on Manufacturing and Design disciplines and software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, REVIT and CNC programming.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or degree related to the discipline.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Manufacturing and Design.

Responsibilities

Provide instruction and training in engineering technology disciplines with a focus on Manufacturing and Design.
Develop new course materials and refine existing courses to match industry needs.
Student recruiting and advising; oversee enrollment development and retention.
Maintain labs, classrooms, and equipment; participate in program assessment and accreditation activities.
Support curriculum development, articulation agreements, and advising; occasional teaching in related disciplines.
