Job summary

Metropolitan Community College-Kansas City is seeking qualified instructors for a district-wide pool of temporary faculty across multiple campus locations in Missouri. Assignments will be contingent upon enrollment, scheduling, and operational needs, with applicants asked to indicate preferred campus locations for contact regarding opportunities.

Typical duties include course instruction, syllabus development, grading, student feedback, and adherence to MCCKC policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of verifiable related field experience.
• Experience teaching in a community college setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses and prepare instructional materials.
• Meet with students, deliver course content, and enter grades.
• Develop instructional materials and assessments aligned to student learning outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information.
• Coordinate with division chair and department staff as needed.
• Engage in course evaluation and reporting as required by MCCKC policies.
