Job summary

Civicworks in Hornell, NY is seeking Engineering Technician Trainees and Senior Engineering Technicians to provide civil engineering support services in Region 6. The program includes inspecting construction projects, participating in field surveys, and collecting and analyzing engineering data.

After a 52-week traineeship, candidates are automatically advanced to Senior Engineering Technician. Selected candidates gain practical experience across infrastructure projects and civil engineering

Qualifications

• One year of experience assisting in engineering, engineering technology, architecture, or related fields with high school diploma, or 18 semester credit hours in relevant college coursework.
• High school technical program graduation in CAD/CAM, construction technology, drafting, engineering, or electronics
• Two years of experience in engineering or related technical fields with high school diploma, OR associate's degree in relevant field
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
• Proof of citizenship and legal right to work.
