Job summary

Signode is seeking an Engineering Technician to support engineering/operations in development projects. You will be responsible for assembling and troubleshooting automated machinery, with a focus on mechanical and electrical components. The role demands strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with engineers.

The position offers a salary range of $27.50 - $31.50 per hour based on experience and qualifications. Signode provides a comprehensive benefits package starting the month after hire.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in development or technical support of industrial equipment.
• Experience working directly with engineers in a technical support capacity.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering/operations in development and application projects.
• Assemble and break down automated machinery.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform necessary repairs.
• Communicate and coordinate with external customers.

Skills

Mechanical and Electrical aptitude

Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical schematics

Ability to troubleshoot basic equipment components

Ability to utilize basic measurement tools

Ability to use assembly tools
