Bolton & Menk, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician in Duluth, MN to support civil design and drafting for municipal projects.

You will contribute to design and construction activities and work with AutoCAD Civil3D and MicroStation to prepare layouts and estimates. The role requires an associate degree in civil engineering technology or equivalent experience, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with design and construction techniques.

We are looking to add a Civil Engineering Technician who will help foster our mission that All People Should Live in Safe, Sustainable and Beautiful Communities! This role will include a focus on CAD and design drafting for our growing Municipal team.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Assisting with design and construction phase activities on various projects
• Performing basic design computations and preliminary layout and design
• Assisting with project plans and specifications, preparing cost and quantity take-off estimates

What We Are Looking For:

• Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited instution or previous experience with infrastructure design and/or construction observation.
• Knowledge and skills in CAD and design software (i.e., AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation)
• Working knowledge of design and construction techniques and procedures.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and your own transportation. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, part-time basis or internship for any employer without restriction. Bolton & Menk does not provide visa sponsorship or immigration support for this position.

Salary Range: $48,600 - $81,000 depending on years of experience and credentials

Bolton & Menk is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to specific geographic location.
