Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. at Kennedy Space Center (Cape Canaveral, FL) seeks an Engineering Technician Level 2/3 to fabricate, assemble, test and accept flight hardware. You will operate electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, interpret drawings, and install components.

The role supports rotating shifts with overtime as needed; a high school diploma with experience or education is required, and the ability to obtain a US government clearance is essential.

As demand grows, we can anticipate scheduled Friday workdays, the possibility of rotating shifts, and the need for overtime.This position can be filled at either a level 2 or level 3.Basic Qualifications for Level 2:High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.Must be able to pass a NASA background check.Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, schematics and electronic work instructions.Excellent time management and organizational skills.Self-motivated, requiring limited oversite; flexible and adaptable to varying work scope and tasks.Proficient in use of manual tools, torque wrenches, power tools, pneumatic tools, and electronic test equipment such as a Fluke Meter or Oscilloscope.Good written and oral communication skills.Standard computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office.Ability to support rotating shifts, holidays, weekends and overtime when required.Ability to lift up to 50lbs.Able to work in manufacturing environment, including accessing ladders, stairs, and work platforms. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
