Job summary

Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple SCA Engineering Technician 2's for a contract opportunity in Warner Robins, GA. The role involves performing a range of production assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical subassemblies, reading schematics, and ensuring quality through testing and inspection.

On-site work hours follow a 9/80 schedule, with a shift from 3:00 pm to 12:30 am. A high school diploma, soldering certifications, DoD clearance (if required), and J-Standard certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain soldering certifications and training.
• Must obtain DoD Secret level clearance if required.
• Must be J-Standard certified.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electronic and mechanical modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, wires and cables from diagrams and drawings.
• Perform layouts, use hand/power tools and jigs, conduct continuity checks and inspections as per quality specs.
• Repair, modify and fabricate cable assemblies, wiring harnesses and complex electronic assemblies; replace components on PCBs.
