Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electronics Technology, Engineering Technology, or related field, or equivalent military/industry experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' hands-on experience supporting electronic systems, avionics, radar, or electronic warfare systems.
  • Experience reading schematics, manuals, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform repair, maintenance, modification, and assembly of electronic systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failures at component, circuit card, subsystem, and system levels.
  • Conduct testing, calibration, and verification using industry-standard test equipment.
  • Interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, engineering change notices, and work instructions.
  • Support integration, installation, and validation of electronic and electronic warfare systems.
  • Document maintenance actions, test results, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
  • Assist engineers with system evaluations, prototype builds, and technical investigations.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, technical procedures, and safety requirements.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and equipment reliability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, logistics, and program teams to resolve technical issues.

Work Shift: Onsite Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4pm.

Type: 12-month contract with extension/conversion potential

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician II to support the repair, assembly, modification, testing, and maintenance of advanced electronic and electronic warfare systems. This position plays a critical role in ensuring mission-essential equipment remains operational, reliable, and compliant with technical specifications.

The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience working with complex electronic systems, troubleshooting hardware and components, and supporting engineering and sustainment activities in a laboratory, depot, or production environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repair, maintenance, modification, and assembly of electronic systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose failures at the component, circuit card, subsystem, and system levels.
  • Conduct testing, calibration, and verification activities using industry‑standard test equipment.

  • Experience troubleshooting electronic assemblies and complex hardware systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, engineering drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and technical documentation.
