Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a lab technician to perform testing under supervision of the Lab Manager. The successful candidate will set up and test hand tools and safety products, document results in our lab request database, and collaborate with engineers and other technicians as part of product development testing.

Looking for a high-energy professional with hands-on experience working with test equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn quickly.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Laboratory/testing experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to operate equipment quickly.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on approach.
• Proficient in MS Office and general computer skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of hand tool and safety products.
• Prepare samples using various tools to cut/modify for testing.
• Condition samples as specified by procedures.
• Operate test equipment with training as necessary.
• Use tools and fittings to create fixtures for holding test samples.
• Gather data and document results in the lab database.
• Follow all company work instructions and safety procedures.
• Communicate with engineering and quality to resolve testing questions.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
