This position involves technical work supporting technicians and engineers in construction inspection, surveying, materials sampling, testing, erosion control, and construction traffic control. This position requires the performance of a wide variety of standardized and non- standardized tests and assignments in compiling, analyzing, computing, editing, and processing field data. This work involves limited decision making and use of judgment. The successful applicant must perform a full range of calculations and computations. This position is subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions. You must perform a full range of calculations and computations and be proficient in record keeping. You do not have to have a degree to qualify for this position. Applicants with at least two years of related experience are highly encouraged to apply. Management prefers applicants with the following: Knowledge and understanding of general concepts, practices, and theories used in construction, construction inspection, and /or construction surveying Experience planning, developing, scheduling, tracking and completing projects independently or with limited supervision Experience in maintaining neat, legible and accurate records and reports, including computer/iPad data entry Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle.
