Job summary

Helion, based in Everett, WA, is hiring an Engineering Technician to develop and maintain our fusion generators and maintenance processes. You will lead full-scale builds, coache fellow technicians, and report to the Build Manager at our Everett campus.

Responsibilities include collaborating with engineers to design, assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems; designing fixtures; owning process development and work instructions for energy bank maintenance; and ensuring safety and

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Technician.
  • Experience using light fabrication tools (power tools, mills, lathes).
  • Experience with CAD modeling.
  • Read and understand technical drawings, manuals, and reports.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook for documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate to design, assemble, test, and troubleshoot electromechanical systems.
  • Design and fabricate fixtures and jigs for assembly/repair.
  • Own process development and work instructions for energy bank maintenance.
  • Design, build, and test mechanical and electrical parts and assemblies.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards in the production process.
