Job summary

Larson Design Group in Williamsport, PA is seeking an Engineering Technician, an entry-level role supporting engineers in designing and compiling drawings and permit packages across disciplines.

You will work with CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, and related software to produce deliverable drawings, perform simple calculations, and help maintain project records, with opportunities for training and growth within the 100% employee-owned LDG team.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates or Bachelor's degree in a Technical discipline preferred.
• Experience: No previous relevant work experience is required; internships in the A/E industry are preferred.
• Licensure: n/a

Responsibilities

• Develop simple to intermediate drawings using CAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Microstation, InRoads, Sketch-Up, Photoshop, and related software.
• Review work for accuracy, correct from red lines, and backcheck.
• Perform tasks within the assigned work-hour budget.
• Maintain documentation and project records.
• Provide technical coordination with other disciplines as assigned by Project Manager.
• Assist with simple design calculations, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Support QA/QC to improve deliverables and reduce errors.
• Perform building surveys and related field work as assigned.
• Understand and manipulate client prototypes for given projects.
