Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking an Engineering Technician C (Electrical) to provide test engineering support in an automated electronic factory in Rochester, NY. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintaining test systems, and creating station documentation to ensure continuous production quality.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with relevant experience, familiarity with schematics, LabVIEW, and MS Word/Excel, and a willingness to work a 12-hour weekend shift

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience.
• Experience reading schematics and troubleshooting to component level.
• MS Word and Excel proficiency.
• 2 years of LabView experience.
• Experience with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of complex digital and RF fixtures, including dismantling, adjusting, repairing, calibrating, aligning, assembling, and operating according to engineering drawings, schematics, and documentation.
• First line of defense in resolving daily test issues impacting troubleshoot, environmental, or up flow test for manufacturing and operations.
• Monitors station utilization and downtime and reports out to the TE Lead.
• Assists manufacturing technicians by answering questions and providing training on test systems and troubleshooting tools.
• Create/Update station documentation items such as MTP’s, Station BOM’s, AMR’s, and TSW’s.
• Works in conjunction with PM coordinator and Calibration Monitor to maintain proper spare parts inventory for the FF test stations.

Job Description:

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, thesalary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $54,500 - $101,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
