Job summary

KASAI NORTH AMERICA is looking for a professional to support the manufacturing process as an Engineering Technician in Talladega, Alabama. This role involves daily assistance with manufacturing equipment, real-time problem-solving, and effective communication with engineering and maintenance staff.

The ideal candidate will possess an AS Degree in Mechatronics or related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience, and have strong skills in PLC monitoring and robotic programming.

Qualifications

• Must have three plus years in support of manufacturing processes.
• Experience with PLC monitoring and troubleshooting is required.
• Robotic programming skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Daily support of manufacturing process equipment and controls.
• Onsite problem solving in real time.
• Ensure communication with engineering and maintenance staff.
• Monitor and collect data for improvement activities.
• Schedule and run trial parts.
• Submit parts to testing lab for analysis.
• Develop and modify robot programs.

Description

Supports the production process with direction from the engineers responsible for the project.

Responsibilities

• Daily support of manufacturing process equipment and controls.
• Onsite problem solving in real time.
• Communication with engineering and maintenance staff to ensure knowledge of issues.
• Monitor and collect data in support of improvement activities.
• Schedule and run trial parts.
• Submit parts to testing lab for analysis.
• Development and modification of robot programs.
• Troubleshooting equipment issues with PLC monitoring software.
• Must work in a safe manner in compliance with KNA policies and maintain an awareness of danger to themselves and others.
• Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications

Education Required
