The City of Pasco is seeking an Engineering Technician II to support capital improvement and public works projects. Responsibilities include design assistance, drafting, field inspections, data collection, and contract administration.
Ideal candidates have 2 years of civil engineering or construction inspection experience, strong CADD and GIS skills, and the ability to work independently and with teams. A conditional offer requires a background check and WA driver license.

Salary: $43.63 - $52.38 Hourly; Depending on qualifications

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (alternative schedules available upon management approval)

As an Engineering Technician II, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of capital improvement and public works projects throughout the city. You will assist with project design, drafting, field investigations, inspection, data collection, and contract administration.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 2 years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering or construction inspection, strong CADD and GIS skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. You will work closely with engineers, project managers, inspectors, and other departments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality project execution. A background check and valid Washington State driver license are required upon acceptance of a conditional offer.
