Job summary

Commercial Sewing is seeking an Engineering Technician to bridge engineering and production, turning concepts into production-ready solutions. You will develop detailed CAD models, drawings, and tooling while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and operations teams on continuous improvement initiatives.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving on the shop floor, with opportunities to influence product quality, manufacturability, and efficiency in a stable, growing

Qualifications

  • Hands-on problem solving in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
  • Experience with CAD and fixture design is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support product development from concept to production.
  • Create and modify part, assembly, tooling, and fixture designs in CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
  • Develop engineering drawings using GD&T for manufacturability and fit.
  • Design jigs, fixtures, and tooling to improve safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Troubleshoot prototype and production issues and implement corrective actions.
